Essence of Ireland in 1800 Miles – Part 6

Traveling out of Killarney, we took the Ring of Kerry scene route around the Iveragh Peninsula.  This is a coastal route which is one of the most popular drives in Ireland.  Of course, this was our first rainy day in Ireland.  It came down in buckets!  Crashing down the mountains and made it an interesting drive on the narrow roads, half filled with water, the other half, often filled will a tour bus!  God blessed us with safety on this day.  Even in the rain, it was beautiful, though we didn’t get to see as much because of it.  Images were not a good either, but you get the gist.  I think even the sheep minded the heavy rain on this day.  Check out my sheep image in this set…Doesn’t he look a little unhappy??!
