Another place we visited while in Killarney was the Ross Castle. It was on the banks of one of the Killarney Lakes. It had a very interesting, knowledgeable guide who led our tour. Sure do miss those Irish accents! While there in the area, we rode horses (Michael rode english for the first time!) in the Killarney National Park. did not take the camera with me, as not knowing what riding we were going to do, I wasn’t wanting to risk it. We saw a herd of at least 100 deer grazing in the field and the biggest rabbits we ever saw!
