One of the places we visited in Killarney was the Killarney National Park. We were so amazed at the vast amount of land with nothing! Beautiful mountains, lakes and a few historical buildings, and of course, sheep. Ireland wouldn’t be Ireland without sheep! One place within the National Park was the Muckross House. It was built in the 1840’s…during the time of the famine in Ireland. We were told that the queen visited there, but didn’t like it. The driver of the Jaunting car (horse and buggy) told us this. He was not too impressed with the Queen of England. You will also see the Torc Waterfall in these pictures. The day before we were there was a rainy day, so the falls were pretty energetic! Great for getting some cool pictures!
